Well it's been under the covers for long enough. XceeD and I have joined together to create a flash of epic proportions. Combat Online, our first multiplayer online game that will be submitted to Newgrounds.
Combat Online is a real-time fighting game inspired by the genius workings of Tom Fulp on Castle Crashers. It features 8 different types of characters to choose from, 4 that are unlockable, as well as features a point system that allows you to unlock new weapons and characters. You can play in teams or all for themselves.
The 7 characters working now include:
Mage
Warrior
Archer
Ninja
Miner
Necro
Tech-Geek
Combat Online lets up to 4 players go head to head in a fun cartoonish battle of skill and button mashing. Whoever comes out on top scores a nice sum of points while the others get fewer (if any).
XceeD has been coding the Multiplayer side of things and I've been doing the engine itself as well as the graphix.
