That is one amazing game

Ok so in order,

Graphics: Amazing job Buzz, just phenomenal, and the art remained of the same style throughout, very creative, very cute and very colourful to match various levels together.

Style: Platformers have obviously been done before but linking so many types of game genres together in this one makes it worth playing and very original.

Sound: Great sound choices, i especially liked the one for the chase level.

Violence: Shoot beams at stuff.

Interactivity: I have to hand it to you, that was so well programmed, and the fact that there was no lag on high quality for such enormous levels was phenomenal. GREAT job!

Humour: Funny circle ^^

Overall : I loved this game. The passion you guys put into it really shows and i wish you guys best of luck with your next projects.

Peace,
Coolio-N

Thanks a bunch, it's reviews like these that keep us going.
It's hard to believe people play it on high quality, guess I need another new computer lol. Glad you liked it, we'll make sure to push out another game soon.

Beautiful Graphics for a rhythm game =)

I thoroughly enjoyed how the game was presented and how the background was synced with AS3, great job on that. Uploading songs was also really sweet, never seen somthing like it before =)

The graphix were amazing but unfortuneatly where the game lacked was gameplay. I like how you went for a sort of original gameplay which involved the mouse but unfotuneatly it was hard to see how the little symbols synced to the music, if at all...

So overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Made me laugh at how blind i was after the strobe effect. Next time try to make the user feel more connected to the game music-wise, since even though the background was synced, the other objects didnt seem to be (if they are my apologies) and the user spends most of their time looking at that.

Lastly, thank you for your advise on removing filters in my own game.

Outstanding job, hope you make the top 10,
Peace,
Coolio-N

Glaiel-Gamer responds:

thanks for the advise. It's REALLY hard to have stuff synched up with the music as flash gives it in a crappy form, so this is probably what you'll see of AS3 games. Anyway I'm making a 2nd AS2 based game with hand designed levels so it should be a lot better than this experimental game.

This was quite quite bad. The graphics were small and hate almost no eye-catching details, there was almost no style since this is but another FPS but with a tut in the end (which i will get to in a sec), the sound or the screams just grew repetitive and didnt rly fit the animations, violence...a bit but it was too small to notice, interactivity:it is a game bu t u dont even have a recoil on the gun or any aspect of realism in the game, humor obviously none.

Now about the last part, the tut, prob ur pride and joy....was horrible. Firstly it was an incomplete tutorial. Secondly, FPS tutorials can be found everywhere online. Thirdly, this is but one (lame) tutorial in a flash and you shouldn't rely on it to get your scores up. And Last, if its an incomplete and almost useless tutorial, dont even expect to have it submitted to a tutorial section. I was flabbergasted when i read that last sentence in your flash. just no man.

Work on your graphix, dont make a tut within a game, and maybe do something more original.

well... um... thanks for your review, dude

Pretty good, for a first game attempt that is. I would have to agree with the review before mine. I loved the concept of the things turning towards your mouse, hence the 8 in style, that really intrigued me and if u kept that in the whole game i would have voted higher. Also the last few levels are just WAY too cheap. Third last was drawn horribly, with no time spent on it. The last one was far to tough for anyone to even want to try. Also cheating is a problem but in any mouse avoider u can always make a cheat screen that it goes to if Key.isDown 2 (which is the right mouse button) overall good attempt and keep making more original things like the rotating things. gl.

Brewell responds:

well the last lvl was not realy a lvl if you did the maze you couldent finish it you just go ovet top but i will promise yoi the next one will be better and i will find the way to disable the menu it will be easy i know people who are good at action scripting

Very nice.

Unlike musical boats i liked this one. It was original, fast paced and addictivly stressful. Congrats.

Plasmatic responds:

hey man sorry i kinda went over the top with my last response. thanks for playing my games anyway, i'll be sure to make more of my games like this.

Gay.

That totally sucked. The gameplay was boring, there was almost no style, and overall it was just horrible. Also the whole thing was prob animated and then just put as an MC onto the stage and would have you avoid that, so every time the gameplay would stay the same.

For anyone else who is thinking of playing this, i wouldn't suggest it.

Jimtopia responds:

Fair enough.

Amazing.

The scripting in this is amazing, purely amazing. Some of these would give me some trouble to even guess how they were made. other ones...you could have done without. Otherwise it was a very good display and i enjoyed it.

psychodad responds:

im glad u enjoyed it ^^

LOL

You actually added me in credits? WOW i feel honored, anyway nuff said good game. U should have kept at it, but watever. Teh_jengerer for the win lol.

teh-jengerer responds:

Well, you did help me with the explosion and the ideas. This was probably going to be my last game, so I thought I might as well have finished it. Those few weeks shouldn't have gone to waste.
